About CFO Burrell

Martin Burrell began his Fire Service Career with London Fire Brigade in 1973. He subsequently progressed through to the rank of Divisional Officer, before moving to West Sussex in 1992 as a Senior Divisional Officer. Following this he was appointed Deputy Chief Fire Officer of Somerset in 1996 and went on to take up the County Fire Officer's post there in 1997.

Martin returned to West Sussex in January 2000 as the County Fire Officer.
